How are running and Tai Chi linked?
To be a good runner you need to work with your body to ensure good running technique so that your energy (Chi) can be translated into power efficiently. The mind must be focused and integrated with the body. This is exactly the same as Tai Chi.
I am a qualified Tai Chi Teacher and with fellow Teacher Chris Mowen run Freeflow Body Solutions Tai Chi. I started running a few years ago and I have run four marathons: Beachy Head, New York, London and Marafun.I am working on improving my running by incorporating Tai Chi. I also study Karate.
